Job Description

An HR Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the human resources department by managing various administrative tasks. This position requires excellent communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information. An HR Assistant assists with the recruitment process, maintains employee records, coordinates interviews, and supports HR projects and programs. They act as a liaison between employees and managers, ensuring that HR policies are effectively communicated and implemented. This role is vital for fostering a positive employee experience and contributing to a productive workplace environment. Successful candidates will be adaptable, proactive, and eager to learn and grow within the HR field.


Responsibilities
  • Assist in the recruitment process by posting job ads and organizing resumes.
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers efficiently.
  • Maintain and update employee records, ensuring complete and accurate information.
  • Support the onboarding process by preparing necessary documentation and resources.
  • Coordinate HR projects, meetings, training sessions, and employee events as needed.
  • Handle employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits information.
  • Assist in the preparation of HR reports and presentations for management review.
  • Manage the HR department s calendar and schedule appointments with stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal labor laws and regulations.
  • Coordinate employee engagement activities to enhance workplace culture and morale.
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure sensitive information is handled appropriately.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as an HR Assistant, HR Administrator, or relevant human resources role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with diverse teams.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with the highest degree of confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems and resume databases is considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of labor laws and practices to ensure compliance in HR functions.
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to take initiative and contribute to team goals.
