Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Organizational Development & Culture:

  • Design and update organizational, departmental and project structures to align with business expansion or restructuring.
  • Oversee the implementation of the performance appraisal system on MenaTech, ensuring it is aligned with organizational goals and effectively utilized across all departments.
  • Develop, revise, and standardize job descriptions based on business needs, facilitating integrating them with recruitment and performance systems.

Onboarding & Integration:

  • Design a comprehensive onboarding experience for new joiners that reflects Strive’s values and culture.
  • Develop and maintain onboarding materials including welcome kits, employee handbooks, company introduction videos, and company overviews.
  • Create tailored onboarding presentations for both staff and managers, providing step-by-step guidance on how to navigate and effectively use of MenaMe systems.

Employee Engagement & Retention:

  • Lead engagement surveys (e.g., Zenith HR Happiness Surveys) and exit interviews; analyze trends and provide actionable insights to leadership.
  • Monitor implementation of employee feedback action plans and report progress.

Recognition & Rewards Programs:

  • Manage “Star of the Month”, “Certificate of Excellence”, and monthly celebration programs across head office & the company accommodation.
  • Coordinate the nomination and selection processes for recognition programs in collaboration with the social committee, ensuring fairness, transparency, and alignment with performance criteria.
  • Liaise with procurement and finance departments to manage the logistics of rewards—such as certificates, gifts, or monetary prizes—and ensure a consistent and engaging recognition experience.

Internal Communication & Events:

  • Plan and execute quarterly events such as entertainment gatherings, team building, sports events, and the annual season launch celebration in coordination with the social committee.
  • Introduce and promote free and discounted services for employees to enhance overall employee satisfaction and support health and work-life balance.
  • Develop internal communications (emails, posters, announcements) to keep employees informed and engaged.
  • Maintain updated birthday and holiday calendars, ensuring timely and thoughtful celebrations and greetings.

Handbook Management & Compliance:

  • Review, revise, and draft the Employee Handbook in alignment with labor laws and business needs.
  • Ensure clear documentation of procedures, responsibilities, and standards.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience with at least 2 years in a business partnering or strategic HR role.
  • Proven experience in organizational development, talent management, and employee engagement within a multi-entity or service-based organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional HR initiatives, manage change, and align people strategies with business objectives.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Master’s degree or professional HR certification (CIPD, SHRM, or equivalent) is an advantage
