Roles & Responsibilities
About the Role:
The Health & Safety Manager (F&B Focus) will play a key leadership role in ensuring compliance with global food safety standards, local health regulations, and Four Seasons best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards in F&B operations, including restaurants, bars, banquet facilities, and kitchens.
- Develop, implement, and monitor HACCP and ISO 22000 standards throughout the property.
- Conduct routine inspections and audits across F&B outlets, ensuring compliance with Saudi Arabia health regulations and Four Seasons policies.
- Train and guide F&B employees on hygiene best practices, safe food handling, allergen awareness, while supporting all sustainability initiatives.
- Ensure proper documentation of food safety processes, audits, and corrective actions.
- Collaborate with the Culinary, Stewarding, and F&B leadership teams to ensure sustainable practices such as waste reduction, energy management, and sourcing from responsible suppliers.
- Drive awareness and best practices on recycling, sustainable sourcing, and reduction of single-use plastics in F&B.
- Provide regular reporting to senior leadership on health, safety, and sustainability performance.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor s degree in food science, Environmental Health, Hospitality, or related field.
- Certifications in HACCP, ISO 22000, or equivalent food safety systems required.
- 3 5 years experience in food safety, hygiene, or sustainability roles within luxury hotels, resorts, or large-scale F&B operations.
- Strong knowledge of Saudi Arabia s health & food safety regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and training skills.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about food safety and sustainability.
