Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Compliance & Monitoring: Daily checks on environmental, personal, and food hygiene conditions to ensure compliance with laws and codes of practice.

  2. Hazard Management: Identify potential food safety hazards (chemical, physical, microbiological) and implement, monitor, and maintain control measures (HACCP).

  3. Staff Training & Supervision: Train and supervise staff on proper food handling, personal hygiene, and safety procedures.

  4. Cleaning & Sanitation: Oversee cleaning schedules, hygiene equipment, and sanitization of machinery.

  5. Documentation: Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of food safety checks, audits, and training.

  6. Audit & Inspection: Assist with internal and external audits.

Desired Candidate Profile

  1. Certifications: Valid Food Safety Supervisor certificate or equivalent qualifications.

  2. Knowledge: Strong understanding of local food safety regulations and HACCP principles.

  3. Leadership: Ability to lead, train, and mentor staff.

  4. Attention to Detail: High proficiency in detecting hygiene breaches and maintaining cleanliness standards.

  5. Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills for reporting and staff training.
