Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Job description
- Close supervision of a student during lessons, in mountainous situations and during breaks
- Support in implementing behavioral and self-regulation strategies
- Promoting socially appropriate behavior and positive interactions
- Structuring learning and working situations in the classroom
- Active supervision during breaks to ensure a safe and successful school day
- Implementation of measures from IEP in collaboration with the Inclusion Team
- Documentation of relevant observations
- Close coordination with class teacher, special education teacher and school psychologist
- Participation in team meetings as needed
Qualifications
- Experience working with children with special needs, ideally in the area of behavior/SEMH
- Calm, clear and consistent pedagogical approach
- High level of observation and quick reaction time
- Ability to work in a de-escalating and relationship-oriented manner
- Teamwork and professional communication
- Resilience and reliability in everyday school life
- German as a native language and good English skills
Desired Candidate Profile
