IT Field Technician - SMP

Provide first- and second-level IT support for offshore rigs and Ras Al-Khair operations.

Support users with IT assets such as laptops, desktops, printers, scanners, mobile devices, peripherals, and accessories.

Troubleshoot hardware, software, and basic network connectivity issues in onshore and offshore environments.

Ensure IT service availability during rig operations and critical drilling activities.

Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, standard software, and approved security tools.

Support user onboarding and offboarding activities, including device setup and access coordination.

Provide clear and timely communication to users and IT management regarding issue status and resolution.

Manage IT assets assigned to offshore rigs and remote locations, including deployment, replacement, tracking, and recovery.

Maintain accurate asset records in the IT Service Management (ITSM) system.

Perform periodic IT asset audits on offshore rigs and at Ras Al-Khair.

Coordinate repairs, replacements, and warranty claims with vendors.

Ensure IT equipment meets offshore operational, safety, and compliance standards.

Log, update, and resolve incidents and service requests using the ITSM tool.

Follow defined SLAs, procedures, and escalation paths.

Support audits, inspections, and compliance activities related to offshore IT services.
