Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Preparing Shipping Instructions / BLs & submitting to shipping line
  • Checking Draft BL received from shipping lines & getting approval from clients
  • Confirmation of BL drafts & arranging for collection of Original BLs
  • Dispatching original BLs to clients against payment or credit as applicable
  • Preparing & executing Airway Bills
  • Tracking status of shipments & updating to clients
  • Customs Documentation / Exit Entry Preparation (Air / sea / Land)
  • Arranging Transportation
  • Preparing Invoice / Packing list
  • Applying for Certificate of Origin with Dubai Chamber of Commerce
  • Dubai Municipality Documentation, Preparation of FIRS & Phytosanitary
  • Assisting accounts department
  • Coordination with shipping lines / agents
  • Coordination with clients
  • Scanning all job files & uploading in the JBM system
  • Filing & proper upkeep of all documents

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Must be precise in his/her work to produce error free work.
  • Should be able to do multi-tasking.
  • Organized, disciplined and honest personality.
  • Must finish tasks time to time.
  • Must be okay with staying late incase of emergency work.
  • A - C level Excel certified
