Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
What You'll Be Doing:
- Liaise and manage the approval process for infrastructure and building projects with specific statutory authorities/stakeholders in Abu Dhabi Emirate.
- Coordinate and communicate stakeholder and authorities' requirements within the design team, while ensuring the design team's objectives are effectively conveyed to the relevant statutory authorities/stakeholders.
- Maintain expertise in authority requirements in Abu Dhabi, with a focus on infrastructure and building project authority experience.
- Ensure adherence to authority processes, procedures, and policies during the design submission and review process.
- Monitor and report the status of all submissions, meetings, phone calls, and other relevant authority engagements.
- Prepare reports and maintain status trackers to provide updates on authority liaison-related matters.
- Possess a broad technical understanding of infrastructure sub-disciplines, including roads, wet utilities, and dry utilities.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline; an engineering degree is a plus but not mandatory.
- Interest in infrastructure projects and willingness to learn about the approval process for infrastructure and building projects.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage but not required.
- Enthusiasm for innovation and process optimization, with a willingness to contribute to team goals.
- Good time management skills, ability to prioritize tasks effectively, and eagerness to develop organizational competence.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office software; willingness to learn Auto-CAD and other relevant tools.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally at all levels, including with external stakeholders.
