Job Description

The role of a Key Account Manager is an integral part of maintaining the relationships between an organization and its most significant customers. As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for fostering strong business relationships with key clients to achieve long-term loyalty and retention. The ideal candidate will be strategic and proactive, with the ability to understand customer needs and provide solutions that align with the company's goals. They must excel at communication, possess strong analytical skills, and demonstrate the ability to manage complex projects and negotiate critical agreements. This position requires a candidate who is passionate about ensuring customer satisfaction, while also driving sales growth and enhancing market share within their client base.


Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with assigned key accounts.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand and anticipate their evolving needs.
  • Set and track sales account targets, aligned with company objectives.
  • Create strategic account management plans tailored to individual client profiles.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize profit and client satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to provide solutions tailored to client requirements.
  • Analyze account data to forecast opportunities and identify risks proactively.
  • Visit clients regularly to present new products or services as viable solutions.
  • Develop mutually beneficial business relationships and opportunities for growth.
  • Prepare and deliver reports on account status and client feedback regularly.
  • Facilitate and participate in regular key account review meetings with stakeholders.
  • Manage resource allocations effectively to support account management strategies.

Requirements
  • Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field is required.
  • Proven work experience in a Key Account Manager or similar role is beneficial.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to resolve issues promptly.
  • Strong analytical skills with a solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Willingness to travel regularly to meet with clients and stakeholders as needed.
