Core Duties
- Operate dishwashing and cleaning equipment, ensuring safe use and reporting faults when required.
- Wash, clean, and return kitchen items to designated areas.
- Maintain cleanliness of refrigerators, stoves, cupboards, storage racks, and other fixtures.
- Use cleaning materials and chemicals properly and safely.
- Dispose of kitchen refuse correctly, keep bins clean, and ensure refuse areas remain hygienic.
- Support with kitchen safety measures and follow all health and safety procedures.
- Carry out additional cleaning or support tasks as directed by supervisors.
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum 2 years experience in kitchen stewarding or a similar role in hospitality.
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene procedures.
Ability to work as part of a team in a busy environment.
Organized, reliable, and committed to maintaining a clean and safe workspace.
Courteous, cooperative, and able to follow instructions effectively.
