Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Drafting and preparing legal memoranda, pleadings, and submissions before UAE courts in Arabic.

  • Managing and maintaining comprehensive case files, while providing accurate and timely progress reports to the Partner in charge.

  • Attending client meetings and liaising with government authorities, including police departments and other regulatory bodies, as required.

  • Following up with police departments on ongoing matters and ensuring timely progress of complaints and investigations.

  • Arranging for the filing and registration of police cases, and coordinating all related procedural requirements.

  • Demonstrating strong familiarity with UAE court systems, procedures, and filing requirements across various jurisdictions.

  • Advising clients on litigation strategies, recent legal developments, and their impact on ongoing or prospective cases.

  • Drafting contracts, legal opinions, notices, and Powers of Attorney across diverse areas of practice.

  • Conducting in-depth legal research to support litigation strategies and advisory work.


Role Overview:


The Litigation Lawyer will play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing litigation matters on behalf of the firm’s clients. The role involves handling cases from initial assessment through to resolution, including coordination with police authorities, case filing, and court representation support. The successful candidate will provide strategic legal guidance, ensure compliance with procedural requirements, and uphold the highest standards of professionalism and client service.


This position requires exceptional legal drafting skills, a strong working knowledge of UAE laws and court procedures, and the ability to effectively engage with clients, government authorities, and internal stakeholders.

Desired Candidate Profile

We are seeking to hire a Litigation Lawyer with 5+ years of proven experience in the UAE to join our team. The successful candidate must be fluent in Arabic (written and verbal) and possess a very good command of English (written and verbal). The role requires a strong background in UAE litigation and familiarity with the latest amendments to UAE laws.


Compensation:

  • AED 10,000 – 16,000 per month (commensurate with experience and interview performance).

  • Monthly bonuses may be awarded depending on the firm’s performance and at the sole discretion of management.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in law from an accredited university.

  • Minimum of 5 years’ proven litigation experience within the UAE.

  • Fluency in Arabic (written and verbal).

  • Very good command of English (written and verbal).

  • In-depth knowledge of UAE laws, with a strong understanding of recent amendments and legislative developments.

  • Demonstrated ability to draft, review, and present legal documents with precision in both Arabic and English.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously under strict deadlines.
