Roles & Responsibilities

timely project execution. With a strong focus on client specifications and
international standards, their expert team ensures seamless delivery across all
project stages, making them a trusted partner for major industry
players worldwide. Now they are seeking an experienced Logistics Operations Specialist who has
hands-on experience in logistics operations, particularly within JAFZA Free
Zone formalities.
Responsibilities:
- Create and coordinate import,
export, and local shipments through freight forwarders and courier
services.
- Track and monitor shipment
statuses for both imports and exports to ensure timely delivery.
- Manage customs deposits and
facilitate clearance processes in compliance with JAFZA regulations.
- Communicate and negotiate with
freight forwarders and courier companies regarding shipment handling,
account management, pricing, and terms.
- Prepare, verify, and discharge
shipping documentation such as Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists,
Delivery Advice, and Transfer of Ownership Letters.
- Maintain effective communication
with consignees and collaborate with internal teams, including Project
Engineers, Sales, Procurement, and Warehouse personnel.
- Utilize EDAS 2.0, Dubai Trade,
and other relevant platforms for customs and shipment processing.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in
logistics operations, specifically within the UAE and JAFZA Free Zone
formalities.
- Strong knowledge and experience
with import and export procedures under JAFZA regulations.
- Proficiency with logistics
platforms such as EDAS 2.0, Dubai Trade, and similar systems.
- Good command of Microsoft Office
applications (Word, Excel, etc.)
- English language proficiency at
minimum C1 level; additional language skills are a plus.
- Experience with ERP software
(Odoo or equivalent) will be considered an advantage.
- Strong organizational,
communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively
across departments and with external stakeholders.
