Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Identify digital innovation opportunities aligned with organisational goals.
Evaluate and introduce emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, automation, RPA, chatbots, and personalisation engines.
Lead pilot projects, proof of concepts, and rapid prototypes.
Develop a one to three year innovation roadmap.
Analyse user journeys across portals and digital products.
Improve user experience through modern design principles, accessibility standards, and streamlined workflows.
Work with UI, UX, product, and development teams to deliver impactful improvements.
Recommend enhancements to increase platform performance, usability, and scalability.
Support transition towards modular, API driven, cloud ready digital ecosystems.
Identify and remove friction points in workflows and processes.
Collaborate with Business Development, Technology, Content, Customer Experience, and Marketing teams.
Act as an internal innovation advisor to support better digital execution.
Lead ideation workshops, design thinking sessions, and collaborative innovation activities.
Use analytics tools such as GA4, heatmaps, and user flow analysis to guide innovation.
Define metrics for pilots, prototypes, and new digital initiatives.
Present insights and recommendations to leadership.
Drive adoption of artificial intelligence tools for content, personalisation, automation, and support.
Introduce new digital tools and workflows to improve productivity.
Promote a culture of experimentation, agility, and continuous improvement.
Evaluate vendors and platforms required for digital innovation.
Oversee onboarding, integration, and utilisation of selected tools.
Desired Candidate Profile
Requirements (Qualifications/Experience/Competencies)
Education Bachelors degree in Technology, Digital Media, Business, Innovation, or related field. Masters degree preferred but not mandatory.
Experience Four to seven years of experience in digital transformation, product experience, user experience focused roles, artificial intelligence or automation adoption, or innovation strategy. Experience in technology, media, digital content, portal ecosystems, or product companies is preferred.
Technical Skills Knowledge of artificial intelligence tools, automation platforms, and digital experience systems. Familiarity with user experience design, user research, and prototyping tools such as Figma and Miro. Understanding of content management systems, APIs, cloud systems, and analytics tools.
Soft Skills Creative and future focused thinker with strong analytical skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. Ability to lead cross functional initiatives and influence internal teams. Curious, experimental, and comfortable working in evolving digital environments.
