Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The position is responsible for maintaining business from the current installed base whilst also expanding into new markets and increasing sales volume, year-on-year, through acquiring new installed base. The business will focus on Machinery Filtration and Acoustic Systems (MFAS) business within the defined countries of the UAE, Oman & Yemen. The Territory Sales Manager will be responsible for ensuring consistent, profitable growth primarily in sales revenues from replacement filters (ReMIF), system upgrades and repairs (Refit) and site services (SS) within the designated territory. This includes, but is not necessarily limited to, operators of gas turbines involved in oil production, oil storage, oil refining, gas production, gas transmission, gas storage, electrical power production, stream production.
Key to success in the role will be:
Ability to develop existing relationships to the point where current installed base is secure, satisfying a recurring need to ensure that our existing customers are benefiting from the best available solutions for their operations.
Ability to increase the opportunity funnel, based upon a well-documented regional machinery installed base, to support territory business growth of ~10% YOY.
Conduct sales activities in accordance with established sales policies and procedures.
Desired Candidate Profile
REMIF and ReFIT opportunity closure within designated territory.
REMIF quotations through CRM system, in conjunction with inside sales support teams.
Maintain existing customer base by ensuring AAF value proposition matches client’s business needs and qualification of all new requests for quotations in line with company process.
Develop and rolling maintenance of prioritized target list for new business acquisition, including action plan with value proposition for top 10 target clients.
Maintenance of AAF CRM system for AAF installed base in designated territory in line with company guidelines, including but not limited to
Ensuring all opportunities are registered in the CRM system.
Cloning all opportunities closed won or lost.
Updating GT Installed list with current installed filter type/manufacturer, last change dates, etc
Weekly / monthly order Intake forecasting and full ownership and support of annual territory Business Plans process.
Ownership until resolution of client issues/questions/clarifications to ensure positive brand reputation.
KPI Owned
Territory order intake of MFAS REMIF business in line with annual OB.
Territory order intake of MFAS ReFIT business in line with annual OB.
Territory as-sold margin of REMIF and ReFIT business (combined) in line with annual OB.
Year-on-Year growth of ‘Opportunity Funnel Value’ to support >10% Y-o-Y growth in sales.
100% maintenance of AAF CRM for 100% of AAF installed base + prospected clients.
Technical Requirements
Technical and operational understanding of GT and engine filtration systems.
General knowledge GT, compressor and engine filtration systems.
Sound understanding and knowledge of product and services sales costing/pricing principles.
CRM and ERP system working knowledge.
