Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Reporting to the Chief Customer Officer, you ll own the full marketing funnel from brand to performance, acquisition to retention and lead a talented team to deliver profitable, sustainable growth. You ll also play a key role on the Senior Management Team, shaping company-wide strategy and ensuring that marketing investments and customer insights translate into real business outcomes.

Accountabilities

  • Drive Core Brand Growth and Profitability: Deliver steady, profitable growth for Hello Chef s core brand acquiring and retaining high-value customers, reactivating paused or cancelled ones, and ensuring CAC-to-LTV discipline and accurate forecasting. Strengthen loyalty and engagement through insight-led campaigns and a deep understanding of customer behaviour.
  • Build and Scale New Brands for Future Growth: Turn new brand concepts into meaningful revenue drivers. Develop clear segmentation, positioning, and go-to-market strategies that drive differentiation, repeat behaviour, and measurable ROI leveraging Hello Chef s operational and technology capabilities to reach new customer segments.
  • Champion Customer Insight and Cross-Functional Alignment: Build a deep, data-informed understanding of customer needs and behaviours, and make those insights actionable across teams. Lead a consistent rhythm for sharing customer insights that influence product decisions, menu innovation, and experience improvements ensuring every growth initiative strengthens trust and brand connection.


Competencies

  • Brand Strategy & Positioning: Proven ability to build and reinforce brands with clear segmentation, messaging, and resonance with target customers including interviewing customers, gathering insights, and translating findings into strategy, campaigns, and innovation.
  • Customer Acquisition & Retention: Strong experience in driving profitable customer growth through paid, organic, CRM, lifecycle, and retention levers.
  • Marketing Analytics & Forecasting: Skilled in using data, forecasting, and performance metrics to guide decisions. Partners with marketing and data analysts to model outcomes, track results, and hold marketing accountable to numbers.
  • Go-to-Market Execution: Hands-on success in launching and scaling new brands or products through both digital and offline activations events, campaigns, partnerships delivering early traction and repeat orders.
  • Team Leadership & People Development: Proven ability to lead and develop a lean, multi-disciplinary marketing team spanning CRM, performance media, social, influencer, partnership, and data disciplines creating clarity, accountability, and growth across functions.
  • Creative Judgment: Sharp eye for campaigns, content, and activations that resonate with customers ensuring messaging lands and strengthens brand positioning.
