Packing Foreman SHARJAH AGRICULTURAL AND LIVESTOCK PRODUCTION EST (EKTIFA)

The Production Foreman is responsible for supervising and controlling daily production activities in a broiler poultry processing plant within the UAE. The role ensures efficient slaughterhouse operations while maintaining full compliance with UAE food safety regulations, municipality and regulatory authority requirements, occupational health and safety standards, and company policies. Key Responsibilities Production C Operations • Supervise daily production activities including live receiving, slaughtering C evisceration. • Ensure production targets, yields, line efficiency, and manpower utilization meet approved plans. • Coordinate with Maintenance C Quality Assurance teams to ensure uninterrupted operations. • Monitor equipment start-up, changeovers, and shutdowns in compliance with SOPs. • Ensure halal slaughter practices are followed as per UAE regulations and company procedures. Food Safety, Quality C Regulatory Compliance • Enforce HACCP plans, ISO standards, GMP, GHP, SOPs, SSOPs, and Work Instructions (WI). • Monitor Critical Control Points (CCPs) and ensure corrective actions are implemented effectively. • Maintain hygiene, sanitation, and pest control standards in all production areas. Occupational Health C Safety • Ensure compliance with UAE occupational health and safety regulations. • Enforce proper use of PPE and safe working practices. • Report and investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions. • Promote a strong safety culture among production teams. Documentation C Systems • Maintain accurate production, quality, food safety, and safety records. • Prepare daily and shift-wise production reports for management review. Continuous Improvement • Support implementation of Lean methodologies, 5S, waste reduction, and productivity improvement initiatives. • Participate in root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action implementation. People Management • Supervise, guide, and motivate production staff to meet performance and compliance requirements. • Conduct on-the-job training related to food safety, hygiene, safety, and SOP compliance. • Ensure discipline, attendance, and adherence to company policies.
