Roles & Responsibilities

Job Summary

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing for a diverse employee base, ensuring accuracy and timely disbursement of salaries and wages, including processing of bonuses and commissions.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements at local and national levels, ensuring adherence to all relevant legislation.
  • Reconcile payroll data with financial records, investigating and resolving discrepancies to maintain accurate financial reporting and accounting.
  • Prepare and submit payroll tax filings, including federal, state, and local taxes, and ensure compliance with all tax regulations.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits, and ensure accurate deductions.
  • Handle employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and related matters, providing excellent customer service and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Process and manage employee expense reimbursements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Generate payroll reports, including summaries, and analyses for management, providing insights into payroll expenses and trends.
  • Implement and maintain payroll systems and processes, ensuring efficiency and accuracy, and recommending improvements as needed.
  • Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure seamless integration of payroll with other HR and financial systems.

We are looking for a detail-oriented payroll executive to manage end-to-end payroll processing for multiple clients. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate, timely payroll execution while maintaining full compliance with UAE labor law and statutory requirements.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing for multiple clients
  • Ensure accurate maintenance and validation of client payroll data
  • Run payroll on time and ensure timely salary payments
  • Liaise with employees and management on payroll-related queries
  • Assist the Payroll Manager with month-end consolidation and reporting
  • Support reconciliation and payment of payroll
  • Manage payroll systems and recommend upgrades or process improvements when required
  • Perform accurate reconciliation of payroll with accounts and GL
  • Ensure compliance with UAE Labor Law, including End of Service Benefits (EOSB)
  • Prepare final settlements for employees exiting the organization
  • Handle all payroll-related employee and client queries
  • Prepare payroll-related invoices and supporting documentation

Requirements

  • Proven experience in payroll processing within the UAE
  • Strong knowledge of UAE Labor Law and End of Service calculations
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Experience in payroll reconciliation and GL accounting
  • Ability to manage multiple payrolls and deadlines
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and payroll systems
  • Strong communication and coordination skills

Desired Candidate Profile

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Possesses a minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in payroll processing, demonstrating a strong understanding of payroll principles.
  • Holds a Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in payroll software like ADP, Workday, or similar systems; Experience with Excel for data analysis is essential.
  • Exhibits a strong understanding of payroll tax regulations and compliance requirements at both federal and state levels.
  • Possesses excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy in data management.
  • Demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees and stakeholders.
  • Displays strong organizational and time-management skills, capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exhibits a high level of integrity and confidentiality, handling sensitive payroll information with discretion.
