Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a 3-6 ton pickup truck, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies, ensuring the cargo's security throughout the journey.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any mechanical issues or maintenance needs promptly for optimal vehicle performance.
  • Maintain accurate delivery records, including proof of delivery, tracking information, and any discrepancies encountered.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the vehicle's interior and exterior, ensuring a professional appearance.
  • Plan and optimize delivery routes to meet deadlines and minimize fuel consumption, demonstrating excellent time management skills.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with clients during delivery and pick-up, building positive relationships.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a valid driver's license with the appropriate endorsements for operating a 3-6 ton vehicle.
  • Demonstrates a strong understanding of road safety regulations and traffic laws, ensuring safe driving practices.
