Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Support safety-in-design reviews and risk assessments.

Identify process hazards and recommend controls.

Follow up closure of actions with engineering & construction teams

Technical Capabilities

HAZID / HAZOP, PHA, Bow-Tie, LOPA basics.

Review of P&IDs, PFDs and cause-and-effect.

MOC, contractor interface risk control, construction safety-in-design.

Relief & venting, Fire & Gas detection concepts.

Standards

Knowledge of CCPS, API, NFPA, IEC 61511, ISO 45001, and local regulations.

Soft Skills

Strong communication, technical reporting, and workshop facilitation.

Desired Candidate Profile

Education

Bachelor s in Chemical/Process/Safety/Mechanical Engineering.

Experience

5 10 years in high-risk industries (mining / processing / oil & gas).

Experience across FEED, detailed design, and construction.
