Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Oversee all supply chain activities to ensure materials and lighting products are delivered on time for project-specific needs.

Coordinate with project managers to understand detailed product specifications, timelines, and delivery schedules.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with lighting suppliers, manufacturers, and other vendors to ensure reliability in meeting project deadlines.

Manage supply lead times to avoid delays in project execution and ensure seamless coordination between order placement and delivery.

Anticipate potential risks in lead times and implement contingency plans for urgent project requirements.

Monitor and evaluate supplier performance in terms of cost, quality, and lead time, ensuring optimal supplier reliability.

Cost Management & Optimization:

Control and reduce supply chain costs by negotiating favorable terms with suppliers while ensuring the quality and timely delivery of products.

Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives, such as bundling orders across projects or optimizing transportation and logistics.

Work closely with the finance team to align procurement budgets with overall project financials.

Logistics:

Coordinate with Logistic Team to ensure timely and efficient delivery of lighting materials directly to project sites.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Collaborate closely with the project management and sales teams to ensure alignment between customer expectations and supply capabilities.

Act as a liaison between the operations and finance teams to ensure smooth flow of payments, vendor contracts, and compliance with financial regulations.

Support other departments with any supply chain-related inquiries or urgent needs.

Compliance & Risk Management:

Ensure all supply chain activities are compliant with industry standards, project requirements, and company policies.

Proactively manage and mitigate risks associated with delays in supply or vendor inconsistencies by developing contingency plans.

Stay updated on regulatory changes in procurement, logistics, and supplier management.

Team Leadership & Performance Evaluation:

Lead, mentor, and manage the supply chain team, ensuring alignment with project objectives and company goals.

Set clear performance goals and expectations for team members in line with project needs and deadlines.

Regularly evaluate team performance through KPIs such as delivery accuracy, cost control, supplier management, and project timelines.

Conduct performance reviews, providing feedback and identifying opportunities for improvement and professional development.

Ensure that the team stays up-to-date with industry best practices and continuously enhances its skills to meet project demands.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration.

Bachelor s Degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred.

Preferred: Master s Degree (MBA or equivalent) with a focus on Supply Chain Management.

Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) by ISM.

Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) qualification.

Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) by APICS.

Project Management Professional (PMP).

5 7 Years of progressive experience in procurement or supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.

Proven experience in procurement of project-based materials, particularly in sectors like construction, manufacturing, engineering or lighting.

Proven experience negotiating with suppliers and vendors to optimize cost, quality, and delivery timelines.

Proven experience managing supply chain risks and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business central experience is preferred.

Familiarity with inventory and logistics coordination, including international shipping and customs processes.

Strong understanding of budgeting and financial analysis related to procurement costs.
