Roles & Responsibilities

Procurement Specialist Responsibilities

  • Manage purchase requisitions and purchase orders across the procurement lifecycle

  • Coordinate supplier selection, onboarding, and performance monitoring

  • Support tendering activities (RFP/RFQ) and evaluation of bids

  • Negotiate commercial terms and pricing with suppliers within delegated authority

  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, internal controls, and relevant regulations

  • Maintain accurate procurement records and contract documentation in CLM or document repositories

  • Collaborate with finance to validate invoices, resolve discrepancies, and support timely payment processing

  • Provide procurement support to internal stakeholders and escalate supplier issues as needed

  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives to reduce cycle times and improve supplier outcomes

Minimum Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

  • 4+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supplier management

  • Working knowledge of procurement processes, sourcing lifecycle, and supplier performance metrics

  • Familiarity with purchasing systems, ERP modules, or procurement platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Coupa)

  • Understanding of basic commercial terms, warranties, and service-level expectations

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work with non-technical stakeholders

  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, manage deadlines, and work collaboratively across teams
