Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the project risk management plan in coordination with the Project Controls Manager and project team.
  • Create, maintain, and improve qualitative and quantitative Risk Analysis procedures in alignment with company standards and project requirements.
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative risk analysis (QRA) on engineering, procurement, construction, pre-commissioning, and commissioning objectives.
  • Prepare and maintain project risk registers, ensuring risks are properly categorized, quantified, tracked and updated.
  • Facilitate risk workshops with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to identify threats, opportunities, and mitigation strategies.
  • Provide detailed analysis on the probability of achieving key project objectives.
  • Work closely with project stakeholders to validate risk inputs and mitigation strategies.
  • Generate regular risk reports, dashboards, and presentations for project management, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Advise project management on risk mitigation actions and contingency planning.
  • Participate in project and client meetings to present risk analysis results and ensure alignment on project forecasts.
  • Perform any other related duties as assigned.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • University degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Should have PMI-RMP® (Project Management Institute – Risk Management Professional) certification.
  • Minimum 10 years’ relevant experience in EPC projects above US$100M.
  • Direct experience with risk analysis tools (e.g. @Risk, Active Risk Manager, Primavera Risk Analysis, Acumen Fuse/Acumen Risk, etc.).
  • Previous employment with leading EPC contractors highly preferred.
  • Solid background in project controls, planning, and risk management.
  • Experience in facilitating cross-functional risk workshops.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform under stressful situations and tight deadlines.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering, procurement, construction, pre-commissioning, and commissioning phases.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken).
  • Excellent analytical, reporting, and presentation skills.
