Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Prepare and Review Project documents such as WPS, PQR, ITP, Procedures, Various Method statements of Subcontractors, Vendors and Supplier documents for Material Approvals
Verify welder and welding procedure qualification compliance
Verify the implementation of welding procedure specification (WPS) and the welder performance qualification (WPQ) during site surveillance.
Verify that all inspections of piping, structural, welding, NDT, mechanical activities are performed as per the specification and international standards
Preparation and review of internal nonconformance reports (INCR)
Confirm that Post weld heat treatment, Notch Toughness Testing, Corrosion tests and /or other specific requirements with respect to the service conditions and / or material type and thickness are as required by client specifications and construction code are met satisfactorily
Procurement & inspection of welding consumables and producing inspecꢀon report.
Investigate and resolve quality-related issues, non-conformances, and customer complaints, implementing corrective and preventive actions.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical).
Holds relevant certifications such as CSWIP 3.2.2 Senior Welding Inspector + RTFI.
BGAS Level II Painting Coating Inspector
QMS ISO 9001-2015 Lead Auditor
ASNT level II NDT methods (Ultrasonic Testing ,Radiography Testing, Magnetic Particle Testing, Dye Penetrate Testing)
