Job Description

We are seeking a professional and friendly Receptionist to join our dynamic and welcoming team at our hotel. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a vital role in creating a positive first impression. Your responsibilities will include managing all front desk operations efficiently while delivering exceptional guest service. You will handle customer inquiries, manage bookings, and contribute to a seamless guest experience. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, organized, and has excellent communication skills to effectively manage the varied tasks of a bustling hotel reception area. Responsibilities
  • Greet and welcome guests, ensuring a warm and friendly reception experience.
  • Manage and coordinate check-ins and check-outs efficiently and courteously.
  • Handle guest inquiries via phone, email, and face-to-face interactions professionally.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure guest information privacy and security.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure room readiness and functionality.
  • Monitor guest accounts and process payments using the hotel's payment systems.
  • Assist guests with transportation arrangements and provide information on local attractions.
  • Resolve guest complaints promptly and escalate issues to management when necessary.
  • Keep the reception area tidy and stocked with brochures and information for guests.
  • Collaborate with other hotel departments to enhance guest experiences and hotel operations.
  • Participate in training sessions and meetings to improve service standards and skills.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies, health, and safety regulations at all times.

Requirements
  • Previous experience as a receptionist or in the hospitality industry preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure and in busy situations.
  • Strong computer skills, including familiarity with booking systems and email management.
  • High school diploma or equivalent education level is mandatory.
  • Friendly demeanor with a professional appearance and attitude.
  • Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.
