Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Review recruitment requirements with HR Manager and hiring managers and ensure clarity on role, skills, and qualifications needed.
- Assist with planning recruitment strategy and timelines to meet hiring deadlines, using data-driven approaches.
- Develop and maintain organisational charts highlighting open positions to support HR Manager with strategic workforce planning and executive management presentations.
- Post or source candidates digitally through professional networks, job boards, platforms and recruitment agencies.
- Shortlist candidates using structured criteria and digital assessment tools to ensure alignment with corporate standards.
- Conduct interviews and manage interview panels, ensuring structured assessments.
- Create and enhance relevant forms, integrating them into recruitment systems to improve candidate evaluation and record keeping.
- End to end coordination and scheduling interviews with all participants.
- Produce detailed job descriptions aligned with operational requirements.
- Prepare offer letters for successful candidates in coordination with HR Manager for review and approval.
- Work with the HR Manager on internal promotions and opportunities to utilise internal talent, maintaining and developing an internal talent pipeline.
- Work with the HR Manager to enhance compensation packages and ensure competitive, standardised offers for candidates.
- Use and implement assessment tools to enhance candidate evaluation and selection, ensuring consistent and objective hiring decisions.
- Plan, attend and host recruitment days and job fairs for global reach recruitment.
- Create structured pathways for intern programs, including onboarding, mentoring, and potential full-time hiring opportunities.
- Build and maintain a structured digital database of CVs and recruitment activity, including internal candidates for succession planning.
- Use recruitment modules, applicant tracking systems, and process automation tools to manage recruitment efficiently.
- Ensure all recruitment activity is properly documented digitally to maintain fair, compliant, and auditable hiring practices.
- Monitor recruitment expenditure and costs, providing reports and analytics to the HR Manager.
- Support and work with HR Manager to improvement the recruitment process, candidate experience, and corporate employer branding.
- Attend industry events and networking opportunities to build relationships within offshore, marine, and corporate talent pools.

Education:
- Bachelor s degree or equivalent in Human Resources, business administration, or related field
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of recruitment experience
- Mandatory 1-2 years experience in offshore shipping recruitment- operational, technical and corporate offshore shipping office roles.
- Proven track record of full recruitment cycles for operational and corporate roles
- Experience monitoring recruitment expenditure and tracking hiring costs using digital tools
- Experience in meeting strict deadlines and recruitment timelines
- Experience supporting internal promotions, talent pipelines, and succession planning is an advantage
- Experience implementing assessment tools, digital recruitment processes, and improving workflows
- Experience creating structured intern programs or early talent pathways
- Experience working with HR to develop competitive and standardised compensation packages
