Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring a seamless guest experience while managing staff effectively.
  • Implement and uphold food safety and sanitation standards, conducting regular inspections to maintain compliance.
  • Develop and manage budgets, analyzing financial reports to drive profitability and cost control.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor staff, fostering a positive work environment that encourages development and retention.
  • Create and execute marketing strategies to boost restaurant visibility and attract new customers.
  • Monitor inventory levels and order supplies, maintaining optimal stock to prevent shortages or wastage.
  • Collaborate with chefs and kitchen staff to design and update menus, ensuring quality and creativity in offerings.
  • Handle customer feedback and complaints with professionalism, turning potential issues into opportunities for improvement.
  • Schedule staff shifts based on peak hours and customer flow, optimizing labor costs without compromising service.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in restaurant management, demonstrating a strong grasp of operations.
  • Certifications in food safety and management, indicating a commitment to health standards and best practices.
  • Fluency in English, with additional language skills seen as advantageous for diverse customer interactions.
  • Experience in diverse culinary settings, allowing for adaptability and understanding of various cuisines.
  • Strong financial acumen, with a track record of managing budgets and driving revenue growth.
  • Proven leadership skills, exhibiting the ability to inspire and motivate a team toward a common goal.
  • Excellent communication skills, enabling effective interaction with staff, customers, and vendors.
