Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The Food Runner is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of food and beverages from the kitchen to guests, maintaining high standards of service, cleanliness, and professionalism. The role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a friendly attitude to enhance the guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Collect prepared food and beverages from the kitchen and bar areas.
Ensure orders are accurate and complete before delivery.
Deliver food and drinks promptly and efficiently to guests tables.
Assist waitstaff with table setups, clearing, and resetting tables as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas.
Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team.
Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries.
Follow all safety and hygiene standards.
Support team members during busy service periods.
Qualifications & Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in hospitality or food service preferred.
Knowledge of food safety standards.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Physical stamina to stand for long periods and carry trays.
Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
