Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Sales & Business Development: Identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities in the field of poles, steel structures, lighting, and infrastructure projects. Conduct site visits, client meetings, and technical presentations to promote company products and solutions. Build and maintain strong relationships with consultants, contractors, and government entities to include company products in project specifications. Prepare and follow up on technical and commercial offers, quotations, and tender submissions. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery schedules within company guidelines.   Technical Coordination: Review project drawings, specifications, and tender documents to determine suitable product requirements. Coordinate with engineering and production teams to ensure technical compliance and product feasibility. Provide clients with technical support on design, installation, and product selection. Support the estimation and proposal team with accurate technical data for costing and quotations.   Customer Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for all technical and commercial communications with clients. Ensure prompt resolution of customer issues or concerns in coordination with internal teams. Follow up on ongoing projects to ensure satisfaction, timely delivery, and repeat business.   Market Research & Reporting: Monitor market trends, competitor products, and pricing strategies to identify potential opportunities. Prepare and submit regular sales forecasts, activity reports, and project updates to management. Participate in exhibitions, trade shows, and marketing events to promote the company’s products and brand.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering. Minimum 3–5 years of Qatar experience in technical sales or business development within poles manufacturing, steel fabrication, or lighting industries. Sound understanding of engineering drawings, material specifications, and manufacturing processes. Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD (basic), and ERP systems. Valid driving license (mandatory).
