Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Sales Engineer is responsible for promoting, selling, and technically supporting metal enclosure solutions including IT racks, server cabinets, electrical enclosure boxes, and customized metal enclosures. The role combines strong technical knowledge with sales and business development skills to deliver tailored solutions that meet client requirements while achieving assigned sales targets and supporting business growth. Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Development Identify, develop, and expand new business opportunities for IT racks, server cabinets, electrical enclosures, and customized metal enclosure solutions. Manage the complete sales cycle: lead generation, client meetings, technical discussions, proposal preparation, negotiation, and order closure. Achieve monthly and annual sales targets as defined by management. Build and maintain strong relationships with consultants, contractors, system integrators, and end users. Technical & Product Support Understand client technical requirements and recommend suitable enclosure solutions. Support product selection: specifications, load calculations, ventilation, cooling, IP ratings, and customization options. Coordinate with engineering and production teams for custom designs, drawings, technical clarifications, and approvals. Assist in preparation of technical submittals, datasheets, compliance documents, and shop drawings. Tendering & Estimation Prepare accurate cost estimates and commercial proposals based on drawings, BOQs, and client specifications. Review tender documents and ensure full compliance with technical and commercial requirements. Follow up on submitted quotations and tenders to maximize order conversion. Market & Client Coordination Monitor market trends, competitor offerings, and pricing strategies in the IT rack and metal enclosure industry. Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates to management. Coordinate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and high customer satisfaction. � Products Covered IT Racks & Server Cabinets Network Racks & Data Center Enclosures Electrical Enclosure Boxes (Indoor & Outdoor) Customized Metal Enclosures Floor-standing, wall-mounted, IP-rated, and special-purpose enclosures

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial) or equivalent. 3–5 years of experience in sales of metal enclosures, IT racks, electrical panels, or related industrial products. Good understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes and enclosure standards. Experience in the GCC / Middle East market is an added advantage.
