Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

As Sales Executive at Waldorf Astoria Dubai International Financial Centre, you will be part of the proactive Sales team managing some key accounts. Build and maintain strong relationships, negotiate contracts/rates, and coordinate with different hotel departments to ensure smooth service delivery. Additionally, you monitor market trends and competitors to identify new business opportunities and work towards achieving sales targets set by management.

Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Gain local market intelligence and understand competitor trends.
  • Develop customer accounts and travel within the local area to drive business to the hotel, increasing market and customer share across all revenue streams.
  • Negotiate corporate rates with clients.
  • Conduct daily sales calls.
  • Host client entertainment activities at the property.
  • Organize and conduct hotel site inspections with potential new corporate clients.
  • Prepare corporate contracts for the hotel in line with current business and pricing strategies.
  • Drive group leads during citywide events and client meetings/conferences.
  • Meet with in-house guests and clients to strengthen existing relationships and build new ones.
  • Communicate and coordinate with other hotel departments to create exceptional guest experiences.
  • Produce accurate and timely reports that meet the needs of the Director of Sales, including reporting on appointments, calls made, and business leads generated.
  • Represent the hotel as an ambassador during client meetings and events.
  • Implement action plans related to assigned accounts as outlined in the sales commercial strategy.
  • Conduct daily sales calls to corporate clients.
  • Support the hotel s service and relationship strategy by driving customer loyalty through service excellence, fostering long-term professional business relationships.
