Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Develop event strategies, set goals, plan budgets, and coordinate with stakeholders
- Lead event logistics including venue planning, accommodation, transportation, AV, catering, and equipment
- Build and maintain client relationships while understanding event needs and providing tailored solutions
- Deliver on-site event leadership, troubleshooting, and guest experience enhancement
- Manage revenue targets, expenses, and reporting aligned with financial accountability
- Identify risks, develop contingency plans, and ensure compliance with safety and legal standards
- Conduct post-event evaluations and recommend improvements
- Lead and mentor a team of coordinators, executives, and assistants
- Monitor industry trends and implement innovative best practices
- Develop strong market insight into Dubai and UAE s MICE landscape
- Conduct site inspections and Fam trips to showcase event capabilities
- Utilize IHG sales tools including IBP, Delphi, i-RFP, SSP, Merlin, Sales Source, and I-Lead
- Attend sales, revenue, and operations meetings to align event strategy with business goals
- Track and review account portfolio performance and prepare business reviews
