Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Lead business development efforts to secure sponsorship and exhibition sales across the Indian events portfolio.
- Research and qualify new leads, building a strong pipeline of prospects through proactive outreach.
- Develop tailored proposals and sales strategies that align with client objectives and event goals.
- Manage and grow relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
- Collaborate with internal teams including production, marketing, and sponsorship to ensure accurate targeting and effective delivery.
- Track market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to inform sales strategies.
- Attend events to secure re-signs and build long-term client commitments for future editions.
- Take ownership of revenue targets, reporting, and commercial performance.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of B2B conference or exhibition sales experience, preferably on an international scale.
- Demonstrated success in securing sponsorship and exhibition revenue.
- Proven ability to exceed ambitious sales targets in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, lead generation, and proposal development.
- Highly motivated, persistent, and results-oriented with strong time management skills.
- Customer-focused approach with the ability to build consultative relationships.
- Willingness to travel for events and client meetings.
