Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Identify and generate new business opportunities in freight forwarding, logistics, and shipping services Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients (importers, exporters, agents, and partners) Follow up on inquiries, quotations, and leads in a timely and professional manner Prepare and negotiate freight rates, service proposals, and contracts Coordinate with operations and documentation teams to ensure smooth shipment execution Accompany senior management to client meetings when required Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and follow-ups Meet assigned sales targets and contribute to company revenue growth Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and shipping regulations
Desired Candidate Profile
Proven experience in shipping, freight forwarding, or logistics sales Strong understanding of sea freight, air freight, and/or land freight services Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English (Arabic is an advantage) Valid UAE driving license Confident, presentable, and client-focused personality Ability to build long-term client relationships Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently Good coordination and follow-up skills Proficiency in basic computer applications (email, CRM, MS Office)
