Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

To support the Principal by performing a comprehensive range of administrative services and assistance by completing administrative duties on behalf of the Principal to ensure he/she is able to concentrate on the core duties of their role.

Main Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the Principal s calendar, arrange meetings and conference calls, and ensure appropriate facilities and hospitality are on hand as required.
  • Produce general correspondence for the Principal and draft replies to correspondence;
  • Be responsible for confidential secretarial, administration and clerical duties relating to the Principal s work including correspondence, records, and databases.
  • Ensure the Principal is briefed for all meetings with relevant correspondence, documents / presentations; and other school matter at all times;
  • Take minutes and notes of the Principal s meetings;
  • Be responsible for all the Principal s administrative filing, including confidential staff and student files, and maintaining and enhancing these filing systems;
  • Undertake research, collating, analysing and summarising information as requested by the Principal;
  • Liaise with key stakeholders regarding agendas, minutes and distribution of official documents;
  • Undertake other duties as directed by the Principal.

Skills

Requirements for UAE Nationals:

Educational Qualification: High School or its equivalent.

Experience: Not less than two years of experience in secretarial and administrative work.

Skills:

Proficiency in English, preferably with certificates or training courses in the English language.

Computer skills, preferably with certificates or training courses in Information Technology.
