Roles & Responsibilities

We are hiring for our client, a leading ground transportation services provider in the country.

Work Location: Qatar

Type of Contract: Direct Hire with Client

Contract Duration: Long Term Permanent

Job Summary:

  • The incumbent goal is to serve as a primary point of contact for HR-related matters, providing guidance, support, and expertise to employees & management.

.

Key Responsibilities:

HR Service Delivery

  • Respond to employee inquiries and resolve HR-related issues in a timely & professional manner
  • Provide guidance and support on HR policies, procedures, and programs
  • Ensure efficient, effective, and high-quality HR services that meet client needs & support business success

Compensation and Benefits Administration

  • Execute necessary steps for employee costing, including calculating basic salary, allowances, and other benefits
  • Process HR costing related to promotions, salary changes, and changes in position
  • Review and execute entries regarding final settlements, miscellaneous deductions, and overtime

Payroll Management

  • Review payroll entries, leave corrections, and other related entries in the system
  • Verify increment for technicians and review salaries monthly for any changes
  • Ensure accurate and timely payment of commissions, incentives, and allowances

HR Data Management and Analysis

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR data, including employee records and benefits information
  • Analyze HR data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
  • Prepare cost and benefits analysis of medical and life insurance policy renewal on an annual basis

Compliance and Risk Management

  • Ensure compliance with Qatar Labor Law, company policies, and regulatory requirements
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks & liabilities related to HR services
  • Review and update HR policies, procedures & programs to ensure alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements

Other Tasks

  • Job descriptions are written to reflect major accountabilities and will not describe all the tasks which may be performed by an individual. The incumbent shall perform any additional related duties assigned by the respective line manager to meet operational requirement

  • The incumbent shall ensure the highest standards are followed to safeguard the sensitive and confidential data of Mowasalat

Minimum Required Qualifications, Certificates & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 8 years of field related GCC experience preferably in transportation, automotive, construction industry with 3 years in an Officer/lead role
  • Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Certification
  • HR Business Partner Certification
  • Employee Relations Certification
