Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities


Quantity Take-Off & Cost Estimation

  • Analyze drawings, BOs, and specifications

  • Prepare detailed quantity take-offs for materials and manpower

  • Develop accurate cost estimates and rate analysis


Tender & Bid Preparation

  • Compile tender documents and pricing summaries

  • Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors for quotations

  • Ensure timely and error -free submission of bids


Budgeting & Cost Control

  • Support project budgeting and cost planning

  • Monitor cost variations ( materials & labour)

  • Update cost sheets and forecasting reports


Vendor & Subcontractor Coordination

  • Obtain and evaluate competitive quotations

  • Prepare Comparative Statements (CTS)

  • Liaise with vendors for clarifications and negotiations


Drawings & Design Review

  • Review IFC Drawings for scope clarity

  • Identity discrepancies and raise queries

  • Propose value engineering and cost-saving solutions


Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain estimation database and cost history

  • Prepare BOQs, rate analysis sheets, and reports

  • Submit regular updates to management


Cross - Functional Coordination

  • Coordination with Procurement, Design, and Project teams

  • Participate in tender reviews and internal meetings


Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Related Field

  • 2- 5 years of experience in estimation ( UAE Experience is mandatory)

  • Strong knowledge and understanding about UAE market rate.

  • Must have an understanding about interior fit-out , Civil, and finishing works

  • Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation tools

  • Good Understanding about BOs, rate analysis, and tendering processes

  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills
