Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

The Senior Ad Sales Executive will drive revenue for Careem Brand Ads by owning relationships across major media agency holding groups and

independent agencies. The role requires strong agency influence, sharp commercial acumen, and the ability to pitch insight-led, multi-surface ad

solutions across the Careem ecosystem.


Key Responsibilities


Own and grow relationships across GroupM, Publicis, Omnicom, Dentsu, MCN, Havas and key independents including Assembly,

Platformance, Chain Reaction, Performics, Media. Monks, and regional boutique agencies.Deliver monthly/quarterly revenue targets with disciplined pipeline management and accurate forecasting.

Drive proactive pitching, renewals, upsells, and strategic responses to briefs and RFPs.

Sell the full Brand Ads ecosystem: Splash, Masthead, Homepage Banner, Journey Ads, Bikes, Boxes, DOOH/MUPIs.

Build data-backed solutions using first-party insights, location intelligence, and ride behavior patterns.

Collaborate with Sales Enablement on pricing updates, vertical playbooks, benchmarks, and case studies.

Conduct capability trainings for planners, strategists, buyers, and investment teams across both holding groups and independents.

Lead quarterly business reviews to strengthen long-term partnerships and increase wallet share.

Work with Creative, BI, Product, and Ops to ensure smooth campaign setup, pacing, and optimizations.

Present clear wrap-ups and insights that drive renewals and incremental budgets.

Track competitive landscapes and build compelling POVs.


Requirements


4–7 years in media sales, agency partnerships, digital advertising, or retail media.

Strong existing relationships across holding groups and independent agencies.

Proven track record driving agency-led revenue and closing multi- format deals.

Solid understanding of digital ad formats, retail media, measurement, attribution, and campaign KPIs.

Excellent pitching, negotiation, storytelling, and communication skills.

High ownership, commercial maturity, and ability to thrive in a fast- paced ads business.
