Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Role Summary: We are seeking an experienced Senior Executive – Production to lead our dairy manufacturing operations. The role is responsible for end-to-end production management across a diverse product portfolio including fresh milk, flavoured milk, sterilized milk, ice cream, milk powder, and ghee. The position reports to the Manufacturing Director and oversees section supervisors and a multi-cultural workforce.

Roles & responsibilities

  • Plan, manage, and optimize daily production operations to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets

  • Lead and supervise production teams (~70 employees across multiple nationalities) through section supervisors

  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards, GMP, HACCP, and regulatory requirements

  • Drive process improvements, efficiency enhancement, and waste reduction initiatives

  • Monitor production KPIs and prepare reports using Excel and PowerPoint

  • Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and Planning teams for seamless operations

  • Implement best practices in safety, hygiene, and operational discipline

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Dairy Technology, Food Technology, or related field

  • 6–10 years of experience in dairy/food manufacturing, with team leadership exposure

  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint

  • Experience handling large, multicultural teams

  • Good understanding of dairy processing technologies and plant operations

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities


Preferred:

  • Experience in Sterilized milk, Spray drying, or Ice cream processing

  • Exposure to ERP systems and production planning tools
