Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Real-Time System & Utilities Monitoring

  • Manage 24/7 monitoring of critical systems: lifts, escalators, electrical distribution, HVAC, fire alarms, and life-safety systems.

  • Track energy and water consumption using dashboards, smart tools, and predictive analytics.

  • Oversee SCADA, BMS, CAFM and integrated platforms for continuous monitoring and immediate alarm escalation.

  • Maintain full situational awareness and coordinate rapid response actions.

2. Incident & Emergency Response Coordination

  • Lead immediate response to faults, failures, and emergencies; deploy duty managers and maintenance teams.

  • Ensure accurate incident logging, escalation, and closure per SOPs.

  • Act as the FMCC escalation point for critical incidents; maintain communication with AMC, airlines, emergency services, and senior management.

3. Helpdesk & CAFM Operations Management

  • Oversee centralized helpdesk operations for service requests and work orders.

  • Ensure achievement of SLA/KPI standards and high customer satisfaction.

  • Monitor workflow, response times, and service delivery performance.

4. Maintenance & Outage Management

  • Monitor planned and unplanned outages and mitigate operational risks.

  • Coordinate outage notifications and system impact assessments with stakeholders.

  • Work with Maintenance Planning to align real-time activities with preventive maintenance programs.

  • Support resource planning, scheduling efficiency, and long-term manpower forecasting.

5. Data Analytics, Reporting & Continuous Improvement

  • Use CAFM, BMS, EMIS, and analytics tools to perform predictive maintenance and trend analysis.

  • Evaluate utilities consumption, incident data, and asset performance to improve reliability.

  • Prepare operational dashboards and management reports for executive review.

  • Identify process improvement opportunities and enhance FMCC workflows.

6. Systems Integration & Cybersecurity Oversight

  • Manage integration of SCADA, BMS, and CAFM systems into a unified FMCC environment.

  • Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, data integrity, and operational resilience requirements.

  • Support backup, redundancy, and business continuity initiatives.

7. Sustainability & Energy Optimization

  • Lead initiatives to reduce energy and water usage through analytics and operational efficiency measures.

  • Support airport sustainability targets by optimizing maintenance cycles and resource utilization.

8. Leadership & Team Development

  • Provide operational leadership and ensure adherence to FMCC standards and service levels.

  • Mentor FMCC operators, duty managers, and call center staff to build high-performance teams.

  • Deliver training on monitoring tools, analytics, and emergency protocols.

  • Manage staffing, shift coverage, and readiness for 24/7 operations.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications & Experience

Education

  • Bachelor s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Operations, or related field.

Experience

  • 10+ years in Facilities Management or Operations within a complex environment.

  • Experience managing 24/7 control room operations.

  • Strong background in stakeholder coordination, data analytics, reporting, and KPI monitoring.

  • Preferred:

    • IWFM/IFMA certification

    • Experience in aviation, critical facilities, utilities, or transport hubs

Knowledge

  • Emergency response, crisis management, and business continuity procedures.
  • Strong understanding of MEP systems, fire safety, utilities monitoring, BMS, and CAFM platforms.

  • Experience in real-time monitoring environments and high-criticality operations.

Skills

  • Strong situational awareness and decision-making under pressure.

  • Excellent communication, reporting, and stakeholder management.

  • Ability to interpret live data and utilize analytics for operational improvements.

  • Proven leadership in high-intensity, mission-critical environments.
