Roles & Responsibilities

Real Estate Development Responsibilities

  • Strategic Development & Investment

  • Identify and evaluate real estate investment opportunities.

  • Define development scope, strategy, and product positioning aligned with business objectives.

  • Lead projects from inception to completion across the full development lifecycle.

  • Participate in setting development visions and long-term strategies.

Feasibility & Business Planning

  • Conduct high-level feasibility studies and market research.

  • Perform gap analyses, land allocation studies, and benchmarking exercises (cost and revenue).

  • Define product mix and development briefs.

  • Prepare development budgets, lifecycle cost analyses, and financial models.

  • Author and manage project business plans for management and Board approvals.

  • Coordinate with Legal, Finance, Marketing, Sales, and Project Management to ensure alignment.

Design & Technical Coordination

  • Lead concept, schematic, and detailed design stages.

  • Manage master planning, architecture, landscape, and infrastructure coordination.

  • Ensure compliance with local codes, regulations, and development plans.

  • Coordinate with statutory authorities to obtain approvals and permits.

  • Manage international and local consultants through all design phases.

Delivery & Performance Oversight

  • Oversee development delivery in coordination with Project Management teams.

  • Monitor schedule, budget, and quality control.

  • Ensure required investment returns are achieved.

  • Assist in managing project launches in coordination with Sales & Marketing.

  • Manage supervision consultants and contractors through to handover.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • 8+ years’ experience (minimum 4 years in real estate development)

  • Proven experience in mall/retail developments and full project lifecycle

  • Strong understanding of feasibilities, budgeting, and retail product mix

  • Experience managing consultants, authorities, and cross-functional teams

  • Gulf experience required (Dubai preferred)

  • Background in Architecture, Planning, Urban Design, Engineering or related field (MBA is a plus)

If you have a strong commercial mindset and hands-on mall development experience in the GCC
