Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Summary: The Senior Receivables Accountant is responsible for managing the end-to-end Accounts Receivable function, ensuring accurate and timely posting of customer receipts, reconciliations, dispute resolution, and reporting. The role will collaborate closely with Operations, Logistics, Treasury, Tax, and Finance teams to strengthen the order-to-cash process and support financial decision-making.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage the full Accounts Receivable cycle, including posting B2B/B2C receipts, intercompany collections, and cash application in line with customer agreements.
- Maintain accurate customer account records, including creation, credit configuration, tax setup, and supporting documentation.
- Ensure timely and accurate invoicing, statement issuance, and delivery of sales orders, including electronic submission and monitoring of invoice status.
- Monitor, investigate, and resolve shortages, pricing discrepancies, disputes, and deductions, collaborating with Operations, Logistics, and Warehouse teams to prevent revenue leakage.
- Prepare and reconcile AR balances, perform month-end close activities, and reconcile gross sales GL accounts to ensure completeness and accuracy of reporting.
- Produce monthly ageing reports, collections forecasts, and ad-hoc analysis to support cash flow planning and management decision-making.
- Review invoices for VAT and indirect tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions, supporting monthly tax filing requirements.
- Respond to internal and external audit requests with accurate documentation, reconciliations, and explanations.
- Continuously identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness of the Accounts Receivable function.
- Collaborate proactively with cross-functional teams to strengthen end-to-end order-to-cash processes.
- Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 4-6 years of relevant AR experience in a multinational organization.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, AR processes, and ERP systems (preferably D365).
- Experience handling multi-jurisdictional VAT/Tax compliance.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and reconciliation skills.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and organizational abilities.
