Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of wine cellars and support special wine events
- Achieve revenue targets while controlling expenses and labor costs
- Assist in preparing annual budgets for food and beverage outlets
- Maintain strict procedures for wine storage, inventory security, and financial handling
- Implement purchasing practices aligned with wellness and sustainability guidelines
- Promote a cost-conscious culture through training and education
- Support exceptional guest service by guiding wine selections and enhancing the dining experience
- Ensure accurate documentation of inventory, purchasing, and storage
- Uphold brand expectations, safety standards, and operational procedures

Desired Candidate Profile
1 3 years of experience as a Sommelier in a luxury hotel or fine dining restaurant
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong English communication skills; additional languages beneficial
- Knowledge of wine varieties, regions, pairings, and storage requirements
- Understanding of purchasing, cost control, and inventory management
- Valid food handler card or alcohol service certification (as required by UAE regulations)
- Customer-focused approach with the ability to enhance guest experiences
- Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced hospitality environment
