Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive credit due diligence on borrowers, including management assessments and financial analysis.
- Underwrite and approve credit applications while adhering strictly to established policies and processes.
- Monitor a portfolio of high-value accounts to identify and mitigate risks before they result in losses.
- Lead recovery efforts for distressed accounts within the assigned portfolio.
- Provide leadership and technical guidance to junior credit analysts.
- Serve as a key departmental resource for mitigating organizational credit risk.
- Manage communications and working relationships with customers, regulators, and auditors.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Expertise in structured lending and credit risk management for large corporate entities.
- Advanced knowledge of trade finance products and market intelligence.
- Proficiency in assessing cross-border transactions and their associated risk implications.
- Strong ability to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
- Advanced financial modeling and organization skills.
- Extensive experience in credit due diligence and underwriting for complex financial products.
- Proven track record in managing active caseloads and prioritizing high volumes of work.
- Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks and audit requirements.
- Skill in managing the end-to-end lifecycle of corporate credit accounts.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Self-driven and results-oriented with a focus on high-quality outcomes.
- Strong analytical thinking and proactive problem-solving abilities.
- High level of adaptability, pragmatism, and professional agility.
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Keen attention to detail and sound professional judgment.
