Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

As Supervision Manager at GCGRA, you will be working as part of the Supervision Team, responsible for monitoring licensees' compliance with regulatory requirements. You will play a critical role in coordinating licensees' engagement, monitoring and evaluating the compliance programs, evaluating internal controls, and monitoring regulatory reporting submissions.

  • Demonstrate a proactive approach towards continuous development of understanding of industry best practices, product innovation and developments within the regulatory landscape.
  • Examine gaming operators' internal controls (policies and processes) for compliance with regulatory requirements, whilst demonstrating accuracy and consistency of approach in documentation of reviews and the ability to identify best practice and make relevant recommendations.
  • Conduct assessments of implemented processes and information to validate their relevance to compliance documentation and provision of structured, high-quality feedback and recommendations
  • Analyse data and regulatory reporting to identify trends, anomalies, and potential risks, and escalate accordingly.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and documentation to communicate findings, observations, and recommendations in line with departmental practices.
  • Conduct regular inspections and assessments of gaming establishments to assess their adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate and coordinate supervision and operator related activities within the organization.
  • Provide input on regulatory requirements, standards, and best practices to enhance the effectiveness of the regulatory framework. And contribute to the development and revision of gaming regulations, policies, and guidelines.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Extensive experience in regulatory compliance, supervision, or related roles within the gaming industry or a regulatory agency. Strong knowledge of gaming laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Familiarity with supervision/auditing frameworks, methodologies, and risk-based approaches.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Qualifications/professional certifications related to regulatory compliance or supervision (e.g., CRCM, CGCS) are desirable.
