Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop a training and development strategy for the company to support the company’s business plan and to ensure that staff have necessary skills to meet their objectives and the opportunity to develop to the maximum of their potential
- Develop and monitor the company’s training budget to ensure that the best quality of training and development is provided within the established budget
- Developing training material for in-house training programs.
- Delivery of variety of established Company Training Programs in accordance to the training and development strategy for the company to support the company’s business plan.
- Direct the staff to ensure that they are appropriately motivated and trained to be able to carry out their responsibilities to the required standard.
- Maintain close communication with managers and staff to discuss training needs and to ensure that they are fully aware of training opportunities available.
- Keep managers and staff informed of internal and external training and development opportunities.
- Undertake regular assessment of training needs and develop a program to meet identified needs
- Evaluate training programs conducted for the staff.
- Amending and revisiting training programs as necessary, in order to adapt to changes occurring in work environment.
- Keeping up to date with developments in training by reading relevant journals, attending training awareness meetings etc.
- Updating and maintaining all necessary training and development records.
- Any Ad Hoc requested from time to time.
Desired Candidate Profile
- At least 4 years’ and above experience in Training and Development
- Sound knowledge of the industry
- Understanding of the principles of training and development
