Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership for facilities management across offices, operational sites, and specialised assets.
  • Own end-to-end responsibility for hard and soft FM, including MEP, utilities, security, cleaning, landscaping, waste management, and asset lifecycle planning.
  • Lead capital expenditure planning, major refurbishments, and new site readiness in partnership with engineering and operations teams.
  • Ensure full compliance with local regulations, HSE standards, and international best practices.
  • Drive vendor strategy and performance, including large outsourced service providers and long-term contracts.
  • Champion sustainability, energy efficiency, and ESG initiatives across the facilities portfolio.
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing Emirati and multicultural team.
  • Act as a key senior stakeholder interfacing with executive leadership, regulators, and external partners.

Desired Candidate Profile

Emirati National (mandatory).

  • 15+ years of progressive experience in facilities management, infrastructure, or asset management, ideally within large, complex organisations (e.g. industrial, logistics, transport, ports, airports, utilities, or large corporate environments).
  • Proven experience operating at senior leadership / VP / executive level.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience managing large budgets, CAPEX, and strategic suppliers.
  • Deep understanding of HSE, sustainability, and regulatory frameworks in the UAE.
  • Confident, credible leader with the ability to influence at board and C-suite level.
