· Being responsible for presenting menus to the guests and answering questions about menu items, making recommendations upon request, and explaining how various menu items are prepared, describing ingredients and cooking methods.

· Taking orders from the guests for food or beverages and ensuring the delivered order is correct.

· Suggesting and upselling the products for the guests.

· Serving food and beverages to the guests, and preparing or serving specialty dishes at tables as required.

· Checking with guests to ensure that they are enjoying their meals and taking action to correct any problems.

· Ensuring the foods and orders match the hygiene standards.

· Removing dishes and glasses from tables or counters and taking them to the kitchen for cleaning.

· Cleaning tables and counters after guests have finished.

· Answering guests' phone inquiries.

· Sending soiled tablecloths to the laundry and getting the clean ones before and after each meal period.

· Assisting the kitchen staff by filling the kitchen order taken (KOT) and correctly filling any re-cooking request.

· Performing other tasks that might be assigned from time to time.
