Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

– Communication with clients from the assigned regions and assisting them with various inquiries. – Collecting and forwarding client feedback to the relevant departments in English.

– Conducting small research tasks related to understanding local market specifics.

Desired Candidate Profile

Confident fluency in Sinhala (and/or Tamil) and English is required. Candidates must be able to communicate clearly with clients, partners and internal teams both verbally and in writing. Accurate translation of client feedback, inquiries and documentation into English for internal departments is essential. Understanding of local cultural norms and communication style. Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships. The role requires consistent follow-ups with clients from Sri Lanka, professional handling of concerns, and ensuring a positive and trustworthy customer experience. Knowledge of the Sri Lankan market environment. Basic understanding of the country’s financial habits, preferred payment methods, local digital platforms, popular messengers (WhatsApp, Viber, Telegram, IMO), and client expectations in financial services will be considered a significant advantage. Proactive communication and feedback reporting. Must be able to collect client feedback, analyze recurring issues or needs, and report them to relevant departments in clear English. Additional languages (Hindi, Arabic, etc.) are an advantage but not mandatory.
