Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new opportunities in the Oil & Gas sector across the GCC
- Execute business development strategies with new and existing customers
- Conduct sales calls and joint visits with clients, contractors, and end users
- Provide accurate quotations and timely follow-ups to customer inquiries
- Monitor inventories, manage complaints, assist with collections, and oversee deliveries
- Perform business reporting, forecasting, and planning, including CRM input
- Provide accurate annual, quarterly, and monthly sales forecasts and market analysis
- Develop and execute plans to ensure consistent revenue growth
Requirements
- Degree in Ceramics, Materials Engineering, Chemistry, or Oil & Gas-related field
- 10+ years of experience in refractory or Oil & Gas sales within the GCC
- Strong knowledge of the Oil & Gas industry and customer applications
- Proven ability to manage supplier relationships and customer accounts
- Willingness to travel across the GCC (30-35% of the time)
- Experience managing junior sales support resources
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead sales initiatives across dispersed geographies
- Proven use of continuous improvement methodologies and performance metrics
- Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
- Self-motivated and adaptable to dynamic environments
Desired Candidate Profile
