AI Innovation Head Apex

We are seeking a forward thinking and execution driven Head of AI Innovation to spearhead our external AI innovation ecosystem. This role is dedicated to discovering, shaping, and accelerating high impact AI opportunities by partnering with cutting edge vendors, research groups, and technology providers. You will curate an innovation pipeline, translate emerging capabilities into tangible prototypes, and ensure that external innovations align with strategic AI priorities. The ideal candidate is commercially sharp, deeply curious about frontier AI, and thrives in a fast moving, experimental environment.

Key Responsibilities:

As the function matures, your scope will expand. Initial priorities include:

• Productization of internal AI tools Turn prototypes (e.g., agentic pilots) into scalable, reusable internal products.
• Cross-functional integration Coordinate with infrastructure and data teams to embed external innovations into internal platforms.
• Innovation scouting and pipeline development Identify emerging technologies and vendors aligned to strategic AI priorities.
• Commercial oversight and governance Ensure vendor collaboration models, budgets, and deliverables frameworks support agile yet controlled innovation.
